Headmaster
Dr. Trish Klein. Dr. Klein holds the PhD in education. She has served as a national consultant for improving student achievement and has authored numerous curricular publications for improving student achievement and for social studies. Dr. Klein has led state professional organizations for educators and is still actively involved in professional organizations and research. |

Headmaster’s Assistant
Ms. Cindy Mixon. Ms. Mixon holds the Education Specialist Degree in Early Childhood and is also certified in Middle Grades education. She has over 30 years’ experience in teaching elementary students. Ms. Mixon also has experience as adjunct faculty at Georgia Technical College where she prepares students to become paraprofessionals for daycares and early childhood classrooms. |

Brelsford, Donna
Music Teacher. Ms. Brelsford holds the Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with several years’ experience teaching in private schools, as well as providing private music instruction. Ms. Brelsford is also the Director of the Reynolds Chorus on Lake Oconee. |

Copelan, Julie
Lead Teacher. Ms. Copelan holds the Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Exercise Science, from Georgia College and State University. She has additional certification in Gifted Education. Ms. Copelan has 13 years’ experience in education with seven years’ experience as a classroom teacher. |

Etheridge, Amanda
Lead Teacher. Ms. Etheridge holds the Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grades Education. She has six years’ teaching experience: two as a special education teacher and three as a classroom teacher in the stand-alone model. She was nominated for Teacher of the Year in her previous employment and was awarded the Teacher of the Month distinction. |

Hutchings, Barbara
Lead Teacher. Ms. Hutchings holds the Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has done graduate work in intensive German language study and is proficient in written and oral German. Ms. Hutchings has extensive elementary teaching experience for kindergarteners and fourth graders. She also has international teaching experience as a missionary in Liberia and Austria. |

Jordan, Meredith
Foreign Language Teacher. Ms. Jordan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, with a minor in Latin American Studies. She has recently completed her Master’s Degree in Education, with a concentration in Spanish. |

Leach, Kim
Lead Teacher. Ms. Leach holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Troy State University. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education comes from Mercer University. She also holds certification in Gifted Education. Prior to joining the staff of Redeemer, Ms. Leach successfully implemented scientifically-based reading strategies in her public school classroom while participating in the Reading First grants. Her classroom has served as a model for other teachers. |

Miller, Frances
Reading Specialist. Ms. Miller holds the MA Degree from Furman University and the BA Degree from Coker College. Both degrees are in Elementary Education. She has additional graduate work in Reading from Kean College and Georgia State University and holds certification as a Reading Specialist. Ms. Miller has teaching experience in South Carolina, New Jersey, and Georgia. She spent most of her teaching career, before joining Redeemer, in Gwinnett County where she was honored by her colleagues as the 2000 Teacher of the Year.

Scoggins, Candace
PreK-3 Teacher. Ms. Scoggins has her bachelor’s degree in cross-cultural studies and is working on her master’s degree in education. She has taught at two preschools prior to coming to Redeemer. During her college years, she worked as camp counselor in children’s camps where she led recreational and learning activities. |

Sutton, Robyn
Lead Teacher. Ms. Sutton is a 2009 graduate of Georgia College & State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Not only was she voted the Outstanding Student by her peers, but she won the Outstanding Academic Achievement award and a Professional Achievement award. Ms. Sutton was sought as a faculty member at Redeemer because of her achievement as a pre-service teacher, as well as for her extra-curricular interests in photography, outdoor recreation and fitness, and technology. In time, Ms. Sutton will incorporate her extra-curricular interests into the Redeemer program. |

Christian, Melanie
Teaching Assistant. Ms. Christian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is pursuing her certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Kelly, Morgan
Ms. Kelly is a 2009 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgia College & State University where she earned the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her work at GCSU included two years’ of field placement experiences in K-5 classrooms. She plans to begin work on her Master’s Degree in the near future. |
